Section 3 Girls Tennis Scores from September 21-22

In the world of tennis, it's always exciting to see new players emerge and make their mark on the court. This week, we saw some thrilling matches in the Section 3 girls tennis tournament, with several teams vying for top honors.

On Wednesday, September 21, Camden took on Holland Patent and Whitesboro, with the latter emerging victorious by a score of 7-0. In doubles action, Deena Tun and Diana Matheh of Camden won S3 doubles-D1, while Hailey Heath and Madyson Austin of Whitesboro won D2 doubles-C.

In singles play, Proctor's Tha Dah Mwee Kyet and Ebenzer Sha took home the top two spots in S1 and S2. Morgan Keil of Camden won S1, while Laine Libertore of Whitesboro won S2. McKenzie Allard of Camden rounded out the top three in S3.

On Thursday, September 22, Central Valley Academy faced off against Camden, with the latter winning by a score of 7-0. In doubles play, Chelsea Coady and Aubrey Corcoran of Camden won D1 doubles-C, while Madyson Austin and Hailey Heath of Whitesboro won D2 doubles-C.

In singles action, Andrey Rublev defeated Alexander Zverev in an exciting match that went to five consecutive losses. The Russian player seized the opportunity with a forehand winner and delivered his first professional victory over his former junior doubles partner.
